Frequently asked questions
How do I get the best recording?
Plug the phone in, put it on the nightstand within about 1 m of your head with the microphone facing you, and tap Start sleeping. On Android, allow the notification and turn off battery optimisation for SnoreMate when the app asks.
Something that isn't snoring was detected.
Open the clip and tap "This isn't snoring". The clip is removed and your score is recalculated.
How does Partner Duel work?
Both of you record the same night on your own phones. In the morning, open Partner on both phones, scan each other's QR code, and the result appears on both. No account or internet is needed.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SnoreMate. Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SnoreMate. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
I bought Premium but the app doesn't show it.
Open the paywall and tap "Restore purchase", signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Delete all recordings. Your recordings never leave your phone; see the privacy policy.
Is SnoreMate a medical device?
No. It is a wellness tool and does not diagnose sleep apnea. If you're worried about your sleep, talk to a doctor.
